More On Hyaluronic Acid

As we age, fine lines start to bracket our mouth and radiate out from the corners of our eyes. These early aging signs get more noticeable as our skin gets dryer and less elastic over time. When the amounts of hyaluronic acid (HA) in the skin tissues decrease due to aging, the water retention and resilience of skin will be lost, thereby causing rough skin, and fine wrinkles. To address skin aging, supplements containing HA are becoming increasingly popular.

The largest amount (approximately 50%) of HA in our body resides in skin tissue. Hyaluronic acid-containing dietary supplements from natural sources such as rooster combs will help compensate for the decline in HA associated with aging.
